And some details

Dyno is equally good for work with Dynamo algorythmic architecture workspaces, various automatisation and extending Revit possibilities.

Dyno provides versatile and simple possibilities for making work with Dynamo workspaces faster.

ORGANISE AND GROUP

Organise Dynamo workspaces and place them on server or any local folde

MAKE PRESETS FOR WORKSPACES

Any workspace may have several initial node values (presets) for different using cases

RUN IN ONE CLICK

Just double click on preset line in Dyno browser and it will be evaluated without opening Dynamo main window

WATCH RESULTS

Dyno shows end and/or intermediate evaluation results from "Watch" nodes

5 things that will take your work with dynamo to the next level

Use Dynamo scripts as usual Revit commands and even more!

1

Organize your scripts into one common storage

When you have many scripts, they must be put in order and structurised

You can group them into subfolders and see them all in the special browser window.

See the video

1.1 Arranging scripts

2

Launch scripts in one click

You don’t have to open Dynamo and search for the file to launch scripts

Every script can be launched right from Dyno browser window.

Browser will launch Dynamo core itself and will send the script to be executed, as well as marking its status (whether it launched successfully or if there was an error).

You can launch different scripts to make your work easier. For example batch printing, placing annotations, some calculations, etc.

3

Make initial value sets for the scripts

As a rule, the same scripts must be launched using different initial settings

Dyno has groups of initial settings called presets.

Presets are like family types in Revit (and scripts are like families). There could be many of them for one script. They are created in special files next to the scripts.

See the video

3.1 Using script presets

4

Manage the initial settings, select objects and pass them into scripts

You can not only set the initial values for scripts within presets, but also change them interactively before launch

You can change both simple values (numbers, strings) and complex ones such as object list.

Select objects right in Revit window and send them into script for processing

4.1 Changing preset properties from Dyno browser

5

Place scripts in the tool ribbons

Скрипты и пресеты можно запускать в один клик не только из окна браузера, но и размещать их прямо на панелях инструментов

Scripts and presets can be launched using only one click not only from the browser window but you can place them right onto ribbon tabs.

You can group them in different tabs. The buttons within one tab arrange themselves and generate icons.

You can also make hotkey combinations for the buttons.
